Joyce Uggla is a friend of Steve's that he's known for a few decades. She is the group's alto, who can go as low as tenor. Near as I can tell, she met Steve back when he was attending Stanford University, is currently employed as a senior tech writer, and has an interest in folk dancing. Many of her household books contain science fiction; owning a few musical insturments, and is the mother of the drummer Jordan.
